I’ve participated in, led, and completed numerous projects over the years. With a PRINCE2 certification, I’ve gained tools for structured project management. This methodology, combined with my broad experience, gives me a solid foundation for leading projects efficiently and with clear direction.

Product Management

As a Product Manager, I worked across the entire product journey – from research and concept development to marketing, sales support, and team leadership. I developed product strategies, defined features, prioritized tasks, and created both internal and external roadmaps. Throughout the development cycle, I followed up on processes, ensured successful launches, and managed products and services through their full lifecycle – all the way to end-of-life.

Team Management, Department Leadership & HR Responsibility

As head of both the IT operations department and the customer service department, I gained extensive experience in team and department leadership, including HR responsibilities. This involved everything from motivating and supporting employees to delegating responsibilities, handling recruitment and termination processes, conducting performance reviews, and managing salary negotiations.

Sales and Sales Support

I have extensive experience in B2B sales and particularly enjoy working with product and service sales, sales support, and partner development. What makes this especially rewarding is the knowledge exchange that happens when working with talented people across industries. To find the best solution for a customer, you first have to understand how they work – and that insight is where the real value in the sales process lies.

I’ve supported sales teams with training and guidance, negotiated contracts, and worked with both creating and responding to tenders. In addition to B2B, I also have some experience in B2C interactions and distribution channels.

Customer Service and Support

Whether directly handling support or indirectly through roles as installer, salesperson, or consultant, my main goal has always been the same: delivering an exceptional customer experience. When assisting customers with requests, challenges, training, or issues, I take full ownership – from first contact to resolution.

I believe in following through, being proactive, and making sure the customer feels supported, no matter how complex the issue.

Business Strategy, Operations & Development

I’ve worked on long-term growth strategies, optimizing operations for more efficient delivery of products and services, and identifying new business opportunities. This has included processes such as SWOT analyses, cost analysis, and future projections – all with the goal of improving decision-making and securing competitive advantage.

Software, Tools & IT Operations

I have solid IT knowledge and broad experience with various software tools, server environments, networks, and IT infrastructure – including cloud services and security solutions. With a deep understanding of how systems connect, I quickly spot areas for improvement and potential bottlenecks.

My experience has taught me how crucial good documentation is for efficient management, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Clear procedures and up-to-date documentation save time, reduce risk, and ensure smooth operations – something I’ve always prioritized.

Technical Installation and Service

Years of experience with installation and configuration of meeting room solutions and digital signage, with a focus on functionality, usability, and operational reliability. I’m also familiar with control systems such as Crestron and Extron, and understand how to integrate these for optimal performance and user experience.

Content Production / Technical Writing

I’ve created user manuals, guides, online help articles, training material, and other documentation that helps users get the most out of products and services. My focus is always on clarity and user-friendliness, making the information easy to access and apply in practice.

I’ve also developed and delivered onboarding and training programs for internal employees, resellers, partners, and customers – covering everything from product training and system introductions to practical workshops and digital learning resources.

Marketing

While I’ve never held a formal marketing title, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience producing radio ads, sales presentations, product sheets, flyers, newsletters, and coordinating campaigns. I’ve also participated in product launches and attended trade shows nationally and internationally, giving me insight into how market communication can be used strategically to drive engagement and results.

Regulations, Laws, and Compliance

I have a strong understanding of GDPR and other relevant regulations and have actively worked to ensure products and services comply with legal requirements. This has included identifying potential risk areas, implementing necessary technical and organizational measures, and updating roadmaps, marketing materials, SLAs, and EULAs as needed.

I’ve always had a genuine interest in laws and regulations and see the value in combining legal requirements with practical solutions that work for both the business and its users.

Media and Communication

Editor of the school newspaper in middle school, and later technician, host, and journalist at Skjervøy Local Radio, Radio Folgefonn, Student Radio in Tromsø, and Skjervøy Local TV. These experiences gave me insight into both content creation, communication, and the technical operation of media platforms. My years leading the youth editorial team during my teens likely laid the foundation for my leadership skills.
